The Friends of the East Broad Top Railroad will be offering public tours of the EBT roundhouse and machine shops on four Saturdays this coming summer. Tours will be led by Friends of the East Broad Top volunteers and will last about 90 minutes. They will require some walking and they're not really suitable for kids, unless they have long attention spans and are really interested in railroading. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can stand a little dirt if you brush up against a locomotive, and if it's hot out you might want to bring water. You will need to stick pretty close to the group, so these are not great opportunities for serious photographers. The cost is $10 per person, cash only, payable on site. Kids 12 and under are free (but, again, please be sure they're really interested). Since we can only accommodate about 25 people per tour, you'll need to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your space. The dates will be June 2, July 28, August 25, and September 29, and tours will start at 11 a.m. See you this summer!
