Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair

The "Pic-Nic" started in 1874 to introduce the Grange movement. This annual event grew and expanded to several days. Families brought tents to stay overnight and that began the encampment. Today, the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair has become the nation’s most unique county fair with 975 tents, 1,500 RVs, 300 concessions, large midway, 800+ exhibit items, livestock, equine facility, ATV pulls, tractor and truck pulls, 3 stages including the grandstand featuring nationally known entertainers, Grange Fair Emporium and more. There is always something to do at the Great Grange Fair!
